The Brief
The London Hydrogen Partnership (set up by the Mayor of London), wanted to raise awareness amongst young people of how hydrogen power can help create a zero emission city, via an educational challenge for London schools.
The Solution
An online science programme was developed to link into the curriculum, aimed at school children aged 11 to 14 years old.
With an integrated interactive challenge it was designed for both PC and interactive whiteboard use.

London Schools Hydrogen Challenge

The London Schools Hydrogen Challenge website provides schools with a range of interactive teaching resources for 11-14 year olds. Students carry out 'virtual' experiments and build hydrogen fuel cells and combustion engines via three interactive lessons and learn about the need for renewable clean energy to help reduce the capital’s impact on climate change.

Using the knowledge they develop, students enter an online quiz to win prizes for their schools and a chance to build and race hydrogen-powered model cars at the Grand Final at City Hall.
