dbda is 'GO' for the final

Following consideration of the many nominations by the judges of the annual Government Opportunities (GO) Awards Scotland 2009, dbda (working in partnership with Road Safety Scotland) has been shortlisted as finalists in the Best Service Award category for the procurement process of The Children's Traffic Club in Scotland.

The Awards aim to recognise excellence within procurement in Scotland, and the benefits to the wider business and social community that smart, effective and sustainable purchasing can deliver.

The Best Service Award is for a supplier that has demonstrated it has gone beyond basic service provision and has worked closely with a buyer to deliver better quality and/or innovative solutions.

The 2009 GO Awards Scotland will be presented at a ceremony held during Procurex Scotland at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Glasgow on 28 October.

Dawn Boyfield, managing director of dbda, commented, "dbda is delighted at being shortlisted for this prestigious award. Over the last 15 years, we have worked closely with our client (Road Safety Scotland) for the safety of children and families in Scotland, to make them better informed road users as they make their journey through life, and we are thrilled our work is being recognised."
