Nationwide Education nominated for 2010 IVCA Award
dbda's multi-award winning online interactive education programme, developed for Nationwide Building Society, has been short-listed for a prestigious 2010 IVCA Award in the e-learning category.
Nationwide Education is part of Nationwide's commitment to supporting the community and provides topical educational resources that help teachers and parents build important life skills in children and young people. The programmes, for ages four to 18, are linked to the National Curricula and are designed to stimulate learning and develop knowledge and confidence in the areas of financial capability, sustainable living and safety. They are designed for use on interactive whiteboards and PCs in school or at home, by teachers, pupils and parents.
Dawn Boyfield MBE, Managing Director of dbda said, "We're thrilled that Nationwide Education has been short-listed for an IVCA Award.
"These prestigious awards recognise the most diverse and creative projects in the visual communication industry so we're really proud the programme has reached this far. At dbda, we're committed to developing innovative programmes that not only benefit our clients but add real value for teachers using the latest technology to engage young people."
Now in their 29th year, the IVCA Awards are the most acclaimed celebration of effective business and public sector communication in film, video, digital media and live events.
