Award-winning Children's Traffic Club singled out by BBC

On the 8th May, The Children's Traffic Club was singled out for praise by the BBC as being one of the most successful interventions in teaching young children the importance of road safety by delivering it in a fun and interactive way.

Despite improvements in road safety amongst pedestrians and cyclists since the 1990s a report launched by the National Audit Office on the 8th May highlighted that there is still more to be done to improve road safety, especially in Great Britain.

The BBC News visited The Children's Traffic Club Roadshow at Highfield Primary school in Uxbridge to highlight the well-established, positive initiatives already working to reduce the number of child pedestrians killed or seriously injured in the UK.
