dbda delivers The Giant Sleepover in association with UNICEF

dbda are delighted to have been chosen to project manage The Giant Sleepover in association with UNICEF. They are calling on children and youth group leaders to join the tens of thousands who are signing up to enjoy fun, friendship and fundraising at the world’s largest sleepover on the weekend of l6th and 17th June 2012.

Registered groups will be sleeping away from home in school halls, tents and even across the lake from the spooky Alton Towers ruins! All proceeds from the event go directly to UNICEF to support their work with children. This year the focus is to help save children’s lives by giving families insecticide-treated mosquito nets. Providing one net costs just £4 and by attending a Giant Sleepover in association with UNICEF UK, kids can have fun and help save lives.

Registration is simple schools and youth groups can register via the website www.giantsleepover.com. And by popular demand although with a new name to reflect our partnership with UNICEF every group will receive an AIR DROP BOX containing a goodie bag for all participants.

Fun activities on offer include cookery, sports, crafts, story-telling, midnight feasts and treasure hunts. Each group will also receive their very own mosquito net and exclusive UNICEF story and activity to help them understand how their sleepover is helping children across the world.

The Giant Sleepover is supported by the Parent Teacher Association, Girlguiding UK, The Boys and Girls Brigades, Sea cadets, St John Ambulance and sporting associations including The Football Association and The England and Wales Cricket Board.
