dbda re-brands BMW Education to become BMW Group Education

The Education Programme, which has a long-established commitment to supporting education across the UK, was launched over 17 years ago as part of BMW’s corporate responsibility commitment providing schools with free, curricular-linked and award-winning educational resources covering the themes of Science and Technology (Young Academy), Energy and the Environment (Energised and Clean Energy) and road safety (Safe on the Street). The fresh, new look of the site aims to appeal to the modern visual eye of its audience as well as continue to provide the latest information about the company through its What’s New feed. It is BMW’s intention for these resources to be not only informative and engaging but accessible to everyone.

Gemma O’Brien, BMW Group Education Account Manager at dbda said, “We hope this new look website for BMW Group Education will further engage a loyal visitor base of students and teachers as well as appeal to new audiences. The Education Programme has proved great value to not only teachers and students but also road safety professionals delivering ‘Safe on the Street’ into schools.”

BMW is an official Automotive Partner for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games thanks to their EfficientDynamics programme which enabled them to meet the challenging CO2 emission targets set for the Games. In summer 2012 over 4,000 BMW vehicles will transport athletes and officials around the Olympic Village.
