First Time Buyers’ Guide wins prestigious award

Yet another award goes to one of dbda’s projects. dbda is the agency behind Nationwide’s interactive educational resource ‘First Time buyers guide’. It advises first time house buyers on what to be aware when making one of their most critical decisions of their lifetime: buying their first house. The project won the Mortgage Finance Gazette, ‘innovator of the year award’ because of its innovative way of integrating and supporting consumers through cutting-edge technology.

Buying your own house can be a daunting task, and the easy-to-use steps of the guide combined with the user-friendly language is a welcome support to first time buyers. Today’s first time buyer entering the housing market will borrow more money and raise a larger deposit than at any other point over the past 25 years. Given this, it is more important than ever for first time buyers to ensure they can make an educated choice about their house purchase.

The success of the guide has also prompted the publication of further informational guides, including a Home Suite– consisting of guides to Selling, Remortgaging and Home Buying. In addition to this, a series of Money guides including information and guidance on Debt, Borrowing, Savings & Investments and Spending will be launched shortly.
