Nationwide Education ‘Pledge Challenge’ winners announced
The impact of Nationwide Education’s Pass it On ‘Pledge Challenge’, designed and developed by dbda for Nationwide Building Society, can be felt across the country, as many teachers, parents and pupils took part, making a pledge to ‘pass on’ key life skills to children and young people.
Now that the ‘Pledge Challenge’ has come to an end, the winners from all three rounds have been selected, with the best entries showcased on the Nationwide Education Impact Wall!
With pledge examples ranging from a young girl cutting off her long locks as a fundraiser to donate to a road safety charity, to teachers raising awareness of sustainably sourced food with their pupils, and others teaching about social enterprise and key employability skills, there are a multitude of examples from the children, families and schools that participated, all with inspiring stories about the differences that they have made with their pledge.
The three month ‘Challenge’ encouraged site users to make a pledge to ‘pass on’ some of the key messages from Nationwide Education, and then provide a video or photo of them achieving their pledge, along with a summary of how that pledge has made a difference to their family, school or community.
Nationwide Education awarded the winning entrants with school donations, iPods, Amazon Kindles and gift vouchers.
The ‘Challenge’ may be closed but Pass it On is a great way to help your friends, families and communities develop their knowledge and understanding of finance, sustainability, safety and the world of work.
