Tasty Tunes served up by Ella’s Kitchen

Tasty Tunes served up by Ella’s Kitchen

dbda has got together with musical mum, Racheal Stevens, to produce five great tasty tunes for baby and toddler food experts, Ella’s Kitchen.

The five tracks, written and produced by dbda, have been commissioned by Ella’s Kitchen to encourage toddlers to enjoy exploring and tasting a range of fruit and veg. Each is based on a family favourite nursery rhyme and part of a much wider programme – Feed Our Senses – a sensorial preschool programme developed by dbda on behalf of EK to encourage  young children to use all their senses as they learn to love food.

Year two of the Feed our Senses preschool programme, focusing on exploring new foods through sensorial play, is available now and includes a DVD of the songs; a range of interactive games and a story; plus practical baby/toddler sensorial activities to get tiny taste buds excited; motivational stickers and a colourful wall poster – all linked to the early years foundation stage curriculum and supported by a comprehensive practitioners guide and parent leaflet providing advice and guidance on weaning.

Rachel Stevens, mum of one, comments: “As a new mum, I’m always looking for exciting ways to encourage my daughter to try new foods, especially greens.  I hope Tasty Tunes helps lots of parents sing about fruit and vegetables as part of their little one’s everyday playtime!”

Paul Lindley, Ella’s Dad and founder of Ella’s Kitchen, comments: “Ella’s Kitchen is passionate about helping babies and toddlers eat healthier food. With the worrying figure that less than one in five kids are eating their five-a-day, we hope this initiative will encourage more kids to eat their veg, creating healthy eating habits that last a lifetime.”
